From April 7th to 9th, over a dozen overseas dealers and dozens of client representatives from Brazil, Australia, Hong Kong, and other regions gathered for the KION China Export Customer Open Day. Centered around the theme “Full Products Offering Shaping the Future”, the event showcased KION China’s robust capabilities in industrial vehicle manufacturing, R&D, and global services through factory tours, interactive Barcamp sessions, and technical exchanges—bolstering confidence in KION China’s global market expansion by 2025.

Witnessing Smart Manufacturing Excellence Up Close
Mr. Chingpong QUEK, Member of the Executive Board of KION Group, CTO, and President of ITS Asia Pacific, delivered a keynote speech highlighting the scale and R&D prowess of KION China’s facilities. He unveiled new forklift models and the full product portfolio—spanning automation, new energy, and digital solutions—while reinforcing partners’ trust with a tenfold growth in export orders over the past decade.
At the Xiamen and Zhangzhou plants, guests experienced firsthand the comprehensive product lineup—from 1.5T to 25T—across the Linde, Baoli, and STILL brands. Through workshops, production line tours, and test drives, they gained deeper insights into KION China’s capabilities in counterbalance trucks, automation, warehouse equipment, tow tractors, and digital solutions.
In Jinan, Mr. Raymond, KION Group Senior Vice President, introduced the KION Jinan Product Technology R&D Center. Guests explored the R&D labs and production floors—from precision assembly workshops to automated welding lines, and from eco-friendly surface treatment to digital quality inspection systems—witnessing KION’s leadership in intelligent manufacturing and lean management.
The delegation also visited Sinotruk’s Laiwu Plant and Shandong Heavy Industry Group headquarters, inspecting premium heavy-duty trucks, commercial vehicles, and flagship products, laying stronger groundwork for overseas market collaboration.
Ms. Adriana Firmo, KION Brazil VP of Sales, and Mr. Leigh Atallah, KION Australia Senior Director, praised the event, stating that KION China’s full-product-chain strategy has reinforced their confidence and commitment to driving growth in local markets.

Charting a New Course Toward Global Excellence
Since launching its dual-circulation export strategy (“Go Global, Bring In”) in 2024, KION China has accelerated overseas expansion through dealer summits and its full-product-chain approach. Notably, Linde, Baoli, and STILL have gained remarkable traction in South America, becoming top choices for logistics upgrades thanks to their performance and sustainability.

This Open Day vividly demonstrated KION China’s vision of powering logistics evolution through a complete product ecosystem.
